Minna Kleinberg Krieqer Kowaloff Dashev is a pretty long name fit for a larger than life woman. Minna passed away on February 21, 2023 surrounded by family.Minna was born in Newark, NJ at Beth Israel hospital on March 11, 1927. She is survived by her daughter Marsha O’Connell who resides in Florida and son Howard Krieger with his wife Lesley Krieger in New York. Minna’s grandchildren Alex O’Connell and Jessica O’Connell with husband Jimmy Arnone, and two great grandchildren Jaylin Arnone and Brandon Arnone who all reside in Florida.

Minna graduated from East Side High School, and later on in life she went on to graduate from University of Miami. Her passions in life were her family that she loved both near and far and traveling. Her second marriage to Eli “Zeke” Kowaloff was a marriage made in heaven. Minna was an amazing golfer winning several tournaments. When not on the golf course, you could find her touring England, Italy, and Capri. You could even find her cruising the Indian Ocean, going through the Panama Canal locks, playing with sloths in Cartagena or even brunching from hot air balloons looking over the Serengeti plain.

She inspired all to think young, be brave, and live life to its fullest. She will be missed by so many.A burial will be held at the Mount Lebanon Cemetery in Iselin, NJ on Sunday March 5th, 2023 at 1:30 PM, where she will be laid to rest in her family plot next to her “Zeke”. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 11th, 2023 at 12 PM in Boca Raton, FL. This would have been her 96th birthday, so we will celebrate Minna!
