Jewish Cremation Services Across South Florida

South Florida families come to us from many backgrounds and circumstances. Some are lifelong residents, some are seasonal, and many have relatives scattered across the country. Our services are built to be clear and dependable no matter where your family is.

Affordable Jewish Cremation Package

Our package starts at $2,495, a fraction of what many families expect to spend on a traditional burial. It includes transportation to the crematory, refrigeration, the cremation fee, a container marked with a Jewish star, and a Star of David wood urn, plus Kaddish, earth from Israel, a shiva candle, a yahrzeit calendar, and acknowledgment cards. Death certificates, the medical examiner fee, and a processing fee are separate.

Support When a Death Occurs Far From Home

If a loved one dies while visiting family up north or traveling abroad, call us. We can work with a funeral director in the place of death, who acts on our behalf, and coordinate every step of the return to South Florida.

‍Family Presence at the Cremation
‍
For a nominal fee, relatives may be present when their loved one is placed into the cremation chamber. Some families find comfort and closure in being there, and some traditions consider it part of the rite.

‍Pre-Arranged Plans That Travel With You
‍
Many South Florida residents divide their year between homes. Every pre-arranged plan includes National Travel Protection with portability in the United States, so your arrangements are honored wherever life takes you.

Trusted Jewish Cremation Services in South Florida

Jewish National Cremation Society is provided by Sinai Memorial Chapels, Inc., one of the last family owned and operated Jewish cremation and burial providers in South Florida. That means accountability to the families we serve, not to distant shareholders.

Our pricing is public. You can read exactly what our package includes on our website, and every outside fee is explained before you sign. Families often tell us that clarity matters as much as cost.

About South Florida Community

South Florida generally means Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade counties, a region that has drawn Jewish families since the early twentieth century. Palm Beach County came to the Jewish population boom later than its neighbors, but it caught up quickly. Between 1970 and 1980, the Jewish population of Boca Raton and Delray Beach jumped from about 1,000 to roughly 37,000, and by 2000, about one in five Palm Beach County households was Jewish, the highest share of the three counties.

That growth produced the dense network of synagogues, day schools, and community organizations South Florida is known for today. A 2018 study of South Palm Beach County counted roughly 134,200 Jewish residents, about a third of the area's population, and the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County operates a 100-acre campus in Boca Raton. Many residents are seasonal, splitting the year between Florida and homes in the Northeast or Midwest, which is one reason flexible, portable arrangements matter so much here.

FAQS

Frequently Asked Questions

Which parts of South Florida do you serve?
Our core service area includes Delray Beach, Boca Raton, Boynton Beach, Lake Worth Beach, and West Palm Beach. If your family lives elsewhere in South Florida, call us at (561) 865-1746 and we will tell you how we can help.

Is each person cremated individually?
Always. Performing more than one cremation at a time is illegal, and modern cremation chambers are not built to hold more than one adult. Your loved one is cremated alone and with dignity.

How does Jewish cremation compare in cost to a traditional Jewish burial?
Our Jewish cremation package starts at $2,495, while a traditional burial usually involves a casket, a cemetery plot, and opening and closing fees on top of the funeral itself. We are glad to walk you through both so you can compare.

How is cremation authorized when family members live in different states?
The legal next of kin signs our Cremation Authorization Form, which can be downloaded from our website, signed, and returned from anywhere. We will explain who needs to sign based on your family's situation.

Do you offer urn vaults for burying cremated remains?
Yes. We offer urn vaults designed for in-ground burial of cremated remains, which many cemeteries require. We can help you choose one that fits the cemetery's rules.
